Logistics Firm Built on
Veteran Values.
Carolina Expressways was founded with a simple belief: shippers deserve a freight partner who operates with the same discipline, accountability, and commitment that defines military service.
Move freight.
Keep commitments.
Build trust.
We exist to give American shippers a freight partner they can actually count on — one that answers the phone at 2 a.m., tells you the truth when a load is at risk, and treats every shipment like a mission-critical operation. No excuses. No shortcuts. Relentless follow-through. That is the standard combat logistics forged in us, and it is the standard we hold ourselves to every day.
From Combat Logistics to
Moving American Commerce
Ted Fyock Jr. is a U.S. Army veteran (Armor) and the Founder and CEO of Carolina Expressways. He launched the company in October 2025 after nearly two decades leading high-stakes logistics and management consulting operations — from Forward Operating Bases in Iraq to the boardrooms of Fortune 500 companies.
Deployed to Forward Operating Base Hammer in Iraq, Ted oversaw 24/7 logistics operations supporting Multi-National Corps–Iraq combat missions, coordinating fuel distribution, equipment maintenance, ammunition supply, and continuous shipping and receiving under the most demanding conditions imaginable. That environment forged the standard he holds himself to today: no excuses, no shortcuts, and relentless follow-through.
After the Army, Ted spent 12 years at Deloitte Consulting LLP advising senior executives on large-scale transformational initiatives. His work on the VA's $15 billion Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor supply chain optimization program demonstrated his ability to drive measurable results at a national scale.
Ted founded Carolina Expressways because he believed the freight industry needed operators, not just brokers. His approach: build a carrier network grounded in shared principles, drive client efficiencies through next-generation technology, communicate proactively, and deliver on every commitment. He holds a B.S. in Political Science from Appalachian State University and resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife Kristen and their two children.
Four Principles.
Every Load.
The same values that guided Ted through combat deployments and Fortune 500 boardrooms guide every decision we make for your freight.
Accountability
When we say we'll cover your load, we mean it. We own outcomes, not just actions. If something goes wrong, you hear it from us first — not from your customer.
Transparency
No hidden fees. No vague updates. We communicate proactively and give you the real picture — even when it's not the picture you hoped for.
Precision
Military logistics taught us that sloppy execution costs lives. In freight, it costs customers. We're obsessive about details — carrier vetting, documentation, timing, and execution.
Partnership
We don't win unless you win. Our success is measured by your savings, your on-time rate, and your ability to tell your customers yes — with confidence.
