Founded in October 2025, we are an FMCSA-licensed and fully bonded freight brokerage built to bring operational discipline, strategic thinking, and genuine customer commitment to the freight brokerage industry.
Our founder’s approach was shaped by 18+ years in logistics, military operations, and consulting, including service as a U.S. Army officer and more than a decade at Deloitte Consulting LLP, advising government and public-sector leaders on supply chain transformation, operational improvement, and technology implementation. Today, Carolina Expressways applies that experience to freight, pairing technology-enabled visibility and data-driven insights with proactive communication and accountable service.

Ted Fyock Jr.
Ted founded Carolina Expressways in October 2025 to bring greater discipline, transparency, and accountability to freight brokerage. After nearly two decades in military logistics, management consulting, and supply chain transformation, he saw a clear gap in the market: shippers needed freight partners who could combine operational precision, technology, strategic thinking, and genuine commitment to customer success.
Ted’s approach to logistics was shaped by his service as a U.S. Army Armor officer, including deployment to FOB Hammer in Iraq, where he managed 24/7 logistics operations supporting Multi-National Corps Iraq combat missions. In that environment, fuel distribution, equipment readiness, ammunition supply, and continuous shipping and receiving required precision, accountability, and mission-critical execution.
After the Army, Ted brings 18+ years of combined military and logistics experience, advising government agencies, public sector leaders, and Fortune 500 organizations on supply chain transformation, operational improvement, strategic growth, and technology implementation. That experience, combined with his military logistics background, now guides Carolina Expressways’ operating standard: proactive communication, disciplined execution, and accountability from pickup through delivery.
